My son Sean got picked at school to sing a duet during his concert yesterday. He went up and sang a full song with a 5th grade girl (Sean is in 2nd grade). They both did a wonderful job, and Sean just looked so cute up there. He didn't seem nervous a bit. Actually he seemed to love being in the spot light!
These are some pictures of him singing his duet, I am so proud of him.
If you could go back and change one thing you've done in your life, what would it be?
Submitted by Devinoid.
I read the question and didn't know if I really wanted to post the answer to this. My answer is an easy one, I know exactly what I would change, but just thinking about it hurts so much inside. This is something I have thought about so much over the years, and the 'if only's" that come with it.
You see, on August 10th 1990, my beautiful, curly haired, redheaded, two year old daughter suffered a near-drowning. What is a near-drowning? It is when you drown, but are brought back to life. This is what happened that day, of course they brought her back to life after 23 minutes with out a heart beat. She was brought back to life, only to suffer for the next 11 years in a vegetative state, until she passed away June 26th 2003.
The answer to this question is an easy one. If I could change one thing, it would be that I didn't go into work on August 10th, 1990. I would have been home watching my two girls. Kadee would be safe, she wouldn't suffer for so many years. She would be a beautiful woman in her last year of high school now and I would have my wonderful daughter back.
Sunday I was taking Trinity's before haircut photo's. Trinity decided to be the cute girl she is and actually started to try to pose for me. Of course I can't get her to smile, but she was doing some funny poses. She did her hands on her hips and went to different places to take her pictures. During all this fun, we just happened to take a beautiful photo.
I worked on it a bit, and now absolutely love this picture! It will definitely be in my portfolio. I hope you all love this picture as much as I do!
OMG I finally got it to work!
I finally broke down and took Trinity to get her first haircut. The only reason is because the top was so long it kept getting in her eyes. I had them cut layers in her hair and kept the lenght in the back. It is hard to see how long it is because of all her curls. Oh how I love her curls!
When we were there Trinity really didn't know what the heck was going on. She didn't move around to much, which is great, then again she was a bit freaked out!

All Done! Trinity is Beautiful!
I have been trying to post one post since yesterday. It is a nice post about Trinity getting her first hair cut. I can save everything but as soon as I try to save the post with pictures it just locks up. I get this lovely message about the script taking to long and lagging explorer out.
After many, many tries, which included resizing photos until they are almost obsolete, I was able to save one picture. I am really getting pissed off at this.
Anyone out there happen to have the same issues? I cannot figure this out for the life of me.
Many thanks for any help I can get!
My Valentine's Day, I guess that should be Valentine's Night was wonderful. I sit here at my computer at 1am still in amazement of what a wonderful date Craig gave me.
Craig made us reservations for 5pm at a very yummy restaurant here in town. We both had a great dinner of prime rib. It was sooo good, just sort of melted in your mouth yummy. The best part was we got seated in the private dinning area and we were the only ones there.
After our wonderful dinner, Craig took me for the real surprise. He set up reservations for a hotel room here in town. I won't go into details, but we got to spend almost 6 hours in the hotel room together, just him and me. It was the best night ever! I forgot what it was like to spend such time with my husband! I can never thank him enough for this great night.
My Valentine's Day present was also awesome. It is something I have wanted for a long time. Craig bought me an ipod touch! Yes I had the best date ever, although now he is kinda screwed, because there is no way he can ever top tonight!

I just LOVE this song!
Today was Sean's 8 year check up. He always does fine, he is small for his age, but he has always been like that. Well today he broke the mold and got diagnosed with scoliosis. He has his first of many series of x-rays done today. The x-rays found the curvature of his spine to be mild, so no treatment is recommended at this time. It is a wait and see sort of thing. Although the fact that he has been diagnosed so young does have me a tad concerned. Guess I need to put the mommy worries to the side, since we will be "waiting and seeing".
Sean thinks it is kinda kewl so far, and can't wait to tell everyone at school. It is a matter of perspective :)
A second grader singing with a fifth grader? That is awesome! Way to go Sean!! He looks so cute up... read more
